How to set the Profibus Address
of the Touch Screen Computer
(Operator Interface)
NOTES
The purpose of this procedure is to provide information for configuring spare
Touch Screen Computers after installation.
This procedure is required when more than one gauge are on the same Profibus
Network. In the case of dual- or multi-Gauge systems, spare Touch Screen
Computers are shipped configured as drop-in replacements for "Gauge #1".
Failure to follow this procedure may cause the
Touch Screen Computer to not function!
The following procedure requires that a keyboard be
connected to the Touch Screen Computer.
| 1 | Exit Siemens WinCC HMI software. Note: Pressing CONTROL and ESCAPE on the keyboard will display the Windows "Start" Menu. In the "Start"/Taskbar, click on "Control Center" to switch to the screen shown:

| 2 | Navigate to the
Windows Control Panel.

| 3 | Double-Click the
"Set PG/PC Interface" icon in the Control Panel Window.

Be sure that CP5611(PROFIBUS) is highlighted. (Note: On some older systems, this may be CP5511.) |

| 5 | Click the "Properties" button. | |

Details: The green-highlighted section of this picture is the place to enter the desired Profibus Address. |
| 7 | Enter the desired Profibus Address in the "Address" box in the Properties Window. | |
| 8 | Start the WinCC software by navigating to
"Start" -> Simatic -> WinCC -> Windows Control Center.
