The x-ray system comes with a line voltage regulating and conditioning transformer.  This transformer is normally mounted on the top of the electronic equipment cabinet.

     One of the major benefits of a conditioning transformer is its ability to regulate the output voltage to within ±3% with an input variation of -20% to +10%.

  Another significant benefit is that the output of the transformer does not go to zero with the loss of input power for even a complete cycle (16.6msec).
